An office out of cardboard. Dreams do come true.
Nothing is a commercial creative agency in Amsterdam made entirely out of cardboard. The Nothing team took the idea behind the company name (taking nothing and turning it into something) as the starting point for the physical design of the office; which included creating walls, signage, beams, tables, shelving and even a set of stairs out of cardboard. Now that’s quite something.

Nordic Design Prize winner 2009.
There's just something visceral about this Nordic Design Prize winner (2009) that made us like it straight away. The fact that the legs are actually made of laminated wood, and not metal, cut in a way that minimizes wastage just increased its likeability.
German born photographer dazzles us.
Expressing the emotions of a girl, we think Batten hit all the right notes. Whether its anger or confusion these photographic are like the unseen moments within a girl. Not to mention the nicely dressed model as well, we like the red shoes and apt styling.

Handmade headpieces in the Chanel Spring 09 Show.
To complement Lagerfeld’s clothing designs for Chanel’s Couture Spring 09 collection, he enlisted the help of a Japanese hair stylist, Katsuya Kamo, to create the show stealing paper headdresses. Incredible craftsmanship goes into making an item like this entirely by hand.
