Samsung is going to release a eco-friendly phone in the second half of 2009. The thing we like about this phone is how it addresses the issue on our environment in its totality. Other than making the phone free of harmful chemicals such as beryllium, it charges using solar enegy and a built in pedometer measures the steps you take, and deriving the CO2 emissions reduced by walking as opposed to taking a car. Not to mention the recycled packaging, this is one phone that has truly taken up the issue of environment consciousness seriously.
