Given the recent tension between Israel and Palestine, it was refreshing to chance upon this playful gesture from Jan Vormann on the public streets on Tel Aviv. This lego bricks inserted into old grey walls reinvigorates the city with much needed youth optimisim. He has earlier done something similar in Rome, but Tel Aviv seemed like a more appropriate context. Incidentally, Jan Vormann is also featured in Tangible, the colourful 3D book from our earlier post.
