Designer Beverly Ng created spark lamp as a response to the Swedish government’s call to be more energy conscious. The main idea was to educate home owners towards a more sustainable lifestyle. The solar powered lamp, with 1RGB LED, Wi-Fi module, tilt switch with biopolymers casing, takes the metaphor as a plant. During the day, it is a potted plant on your window, by night it is a standing lamp on your table.
