We wish we could cut like Jill Sylvia, precise, accurate, intricate and beautiful. Using ledger sheets that are traditionally used to record financial transactions of a business or an individual, they are the material of economics. Using a drafting knife she individually removed thousands of boxes from the paper to create a lattice which she then employs to create “a new sense, a new value”.
