Measuring fonts - Matt Robinson + Tom Wrigglesworth

We discovered another interesting experiment/installation from the same guy that brought us HP invent video. This time Matt Robinson, together with Tom Wrigglesworth, investigates the 'eco-friendliness' of fonts in their work "Measuring Type". In a bid to prove that not all fonts are equal, they attempt to evaluate the ink efficiency of popular fonts by writing them on the wall and showing how much ink is used to write the word "sample" of comparable size. The results are perhaps nothing that we don't already know but sometimes stating the obvious is the most efficient way to get the message across.
