Ink Calendar - Oscar Diaz
Posted Sunday, July 19, 2009 by SixSevenEightNine in Labels: products, visualHow do you tell the date? Spanish designer Oscar Diaz’s tell her days by watching the beautiful capillary action of ink spreading across paper to display the date. The ink colors are based on a spectrum, which relate to a “color temperature scale” based on the color related to our perception of the month’s weather. Perhaps, it’ll never make it to our living room, considering the paper and ink we have to use for each month, but there’s no question that this is an awesome installation that enhances the perception of passing time rather than just letting it unknowingly slip it by.
