Blueprint installation - Ou Studio

We love the simple lines and refreshing colour tone of this 3d-meet-2d art installation.
Blueprint was an installation by Taiwanese Ou Studio as part of the all-star exhibition during DMY Berlin Design Festival 09. Based on blueprint technical drawings, the installation assembles different furniture elements from an old house on a blue wall and complements the body with white lines, which finally projects a three-dimensional aesthetic perception. Items including the ‘one piece’ bench were constructed using bamboo paper, strong enough for visitors to sit on. each item was measured and made to scale.
