Uniqlo Megastore - Curiosity

While Uniqlo's opening in Tampines and Orchard has gathered them quite a following in Singapore, check out their megastore near the Shinjuku station in Tokyo! Designed by Curiosity, the megastore is a response to the Tokyo urbanscape. The shop illuminates its surrounding and becomes an active element of the street, adding a civic dimension to a commercial entity. In the interior, a lit ceiling, displays and counters work together to remove the shadows; relegating them into the background; thereby allowing focus on what that matter most - the products and the customers.
